CAVITY SLIDERS

Single:

Trim size is calculated using twice the door width plus 30mm (includes door jamb and packing)

Double:

Trim size width is four times the door plus 10mm (includes door jamb and packing)

Height:

Trim size height for single and double is height of door plus 80mm (includes door jamb and packing),

100mm for soft close systems.

CREDITS OR REMEDIAL WORK

No applications for credit or remedial work will be accepted unless accompanied by a Nationwide Prehung order number. For information on such things Nationwide Prehung must be contacted before any remedial action can be taken.

SLIDING DOORS

The over lap for sliding doors is 30mm per door. As such with a double slider allow for a total of 30mm overlap. With a triple slider allow for a total of 60mm overlap and with a quad slider allow for a total 90mm overlap.

HINGES

Nationwide use 12.70mm large radius loose pin hinges, they are 89x58x1.9mm. The available colours/types are BMA, brass plate, nickel plate, satin chrome, stainless steel, and yellow zinc chromate.

WARRANTIES

A law label stating the warranty conditions of the door is attached to one side of every door leaf that is sent out.

RETURN OR EXCHANGE OF DOORS

We do not take back doors not required or doors ordered incorrectly.

However the office must be contacted if standard doors can be placed on other jobs.

DOOR LEAVES

GROOVED DOORS

Unless requested otherwise all grooved doors have 3mm MDF skin, and are routed approx. 1.5mm deep and 3mm wide in a “U” shape. Painters have commented that they prefer the U to the V shaped grooves. A “V” groove can be done but the doors must be manufactured with a 4mm skin, which will be slightly more expensive. Grooves for these doors are 6mm wide x 3mm deep.

EXTERIOR - PORCH DOORS

Oil tempered hardboard doors often ordered for external use and are for sheltered conditions only. They are referred to as porch doors and must not be exposed to direct weather.

STANDARD DOORS

Have 3mm skins and are 35.8mm in nominal thickness. Both faces of the doors are primed with UV primer. Doors are arrised (beveled) on all 4 edges. Door rails (stiles) are 30mm thick x 28mm wide after machining the finished product.

Doors with poly rib core are flatter and stronger than conventional paper honeycomb cores.

STANDARD DOOR SIZES

Standard door widths are from 410mm up to 910mm in increments of 50mm.

4 & 6 Panel Woodgrain Doors: 410 - 910

4 Panel Smooth: 410 - 860

4 & 6 Panel Woodgrain Doors have 2 & 3 panels respectively for sizes 410 & 460mm.

OVERHEIGHT DOORS

As with standard doors but with the following alterations

Any door manufactured over 2200mm high or 911 wide to be made with 4mm skins therefore the overall door thickness will be about 38mm thick.
